Office Administrator with Bookkeeping

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. The Office Administrator will oversee the smooth operation of our office environment, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all administrative and operational functions.
Responsibilities:
• Manage office operations and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
• Maintain office services by organizing office operations and procedures, controlling correspondence, and maintaining filing systems.
• Ensure that all administrative activities are carried out efficiently, including managing office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
• Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail.
• Implement and maintain office policies and procedures.
• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
• Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, receipts, sales, and payments, into the appropriate ledger accounts.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and issue invoices to customers and clients.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Monitor and manage petty cash transactions.
• Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings.
Qualifications:
• Diploma in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as Sage 50 will be given preference.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
