Heavy Equipment Mechanic
The Fredericton International Airport Authority is looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our dedicated, enthusiastic and professional team. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic is a key part of our Safety Management System, helping to ensure runways are clear and equipment is working safely and efficiently. In this position you will operate and repair both standard and specialized equipment. Shift work is required.
Salary: $31.67/hour, pension, and full medical and dental benefits.
Certification/Experience: Truck and Trailer or Heavy Equipment Mechanic with 3-5 years’ experience. Equipment operation experience.
Languages: English
Credentials:
- Journeyperson Certificate in Truck and Trailer or Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
- Driver’s License with Air Brakes
- WHMIS Training, an asset
General Duties: Maintain and repair airport heavy equipment, and operate equipment to keep the runways safe.
