FREDERICTON, NB – Due to the evolving nature of COVID-19 and the current advice of NB’s Chief Medical Officer and Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer, the Fredericton Chamber of Commerce has announced that it is postponing upcoming events through the end of April. These events will be rescheduled at a later date. Specifically, the events affected are: 

  • March 19 – Parliamentary Breakfast 
  • March 24 – Business Over Breakfast 
  • April 2 – Business After Hours  
  • April 21 – Business Over Breakfast 

“We regret any inconvenience – our leadership team’s first priority is to ensure the wellbeing and safety of members, our team, and others by taking the appropriate precautions that contribute to the cessation of any potential spread of COVID 19,” said Krista Ross, chamber CEO. “We would like to thank our members and other stakeholders for their continued support and encourage all to follow the advice of our public health officials.” 

The chamber will re-evaluate events scheduled after May 1st at a later date as the situation evolves and will work with the Canadian and Atlantic chambers to provide relevant and helpful information to our members as it becomes available.
