Position on the Board: Board Member
I grew up in Hanwell, graduated from FHS and then UNB with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2000. I started in banking after graduation and quickly made the move to Commercial Banking. I took a short term posting in Calgary from 2002 to 2004, and in 2004 my husband, Jason, and I returned to Fredericton to be closer to family, now living in Hanwell with our two children, Jack and Sara.
I spend a lot of time volunteering with such organizations as Kin Canada and Girl Guides of Canada. I am an active charter member of the Kinette Club of Fredericton and am also an incoming Deputy Governor for Kin Canada Atlantic, with responsibilities to the Kin Clubs located in New Brunswick. I have also been fortunate to volunteer as a Guider for Girl Guides on and off for the last 15 years.
Currently, I hold the role of Manager, Commercial Banking at CIBC. I manage a lending and deposit portfolio that covers Fredericton, but I also travel to see clients and prospects as far away as Edmundston. The portfolio is diversified having clients from various industries including but not limited to automotive, agriculture, manufacturing and not-for-profit.
