Like many other Fredericton businesses, our team had to make a quick change to the virtual world. Our previous solar assessments would include in-person meetings, which we all know made things more personalized when creating a customer relationship. We had to find a solution to stay resilient and create an interactive way to show businesses how they save through solar… virtually.
Potential Solar Location Instead of visiting the site in-person, we’re able to properly measure the size of a building’s roof or plot of land using professional online tools. Solar panels require unshaded space. The available space needs to be measured to properly size solar arrays that can fit. The equipment needed to run the Solar PV system included inverters, combiner boxes, disconnects, and meters. This equipment is typically installed on a wall near the customer’s utility meter and electrical panel.
A virtual solar assessment will provide you with the Solar PV design, deep analysis of your energy consumption and production with the recommended Solar PV size, and different price options and savings that come with it. We’re also able to provide information on current programs or funding that might be applicable for your business to go solar.
Naveco has provided these virtual assessments to several potential customers throughout the pandemic. When faced with changed our team rose to the occasion and created a new normal for how we operate. Currently, we have integrated back into the office at half capacity while keeping our home offices for the days we are still at home. The pandemic took a toll on businesses, but Fredericton has rallied today and stayed strong and resilient.
