Dear Chief Polchies:

Re: Kuli-kiseht!

On behalf of the Fredericton Chamber of Commerce board of directors and our 1,000 member businesses and organizations, we would like to extend our congratulations on your recent re-election as Chief of St. Mary’s First Nation. Your continued leadership and community engagement are incredible contributions locally, provincially, and nationally to the Indigenous people you represent.

Our organization and our members value the important economic and cultural connections between our communities and we look forward to continuing to work together for the betterment of the region.

As you may be aware, our chamber has dedicated staff and volunteer resources to specifically examine how we can make even stronger connections. To this end, we would like to propose a meeting between you and your team and the Chamber’s leadership team to consult with you on how we can best work together and compliment efforts – particularly in relation to economic development.

Again, congratulations on your re-election and we look forward to further discussing opportunities for making connections and moving the region forward.

Sincerely,

Bob Chisholm, President                                    Krista Ross, CEO
