Forest NB (the New Brunswick Forest Products Association Inc.) is a non-profit organization representing and advocating for forest product manufacturers in New Brunswick since 1957.

Our mission is to be the voice of the forest sector and we are seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to deliver a robust and effective public relations program in support of this mission and our vision of growing a future for our communities through renewable forests.

Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this position is responsible for development and delivery of brand management and content distribution strategies, advertising, partnership development, education, and training components, and managing overall execution of the communications goals.

The manager will also serve as the media relations expert and assist Forest NB and its members to increase visibility and reach a broader audience through communication and promotion of the organization’s initiatives and events.

The ideal candidate will bring knowledge and experience of developing and implementing marketing strategies, possess exceptional communication skills, and be savvy of the application of digital media in marketing and communication campaigns. This position requires a broad range of communication and marketing skills. Our small and dynamic team requires a manager who will lead and execute on the defined initiatives, as well as take on additional tasks and support others on the team when required.

Forest NB’s office is in Fredericton, NB, and travel within province is required for delivery of some position responsibilities. While presence in the Fredericton office will be required, consideration for flexible/alternate working arrangements may be considered.

Bilingualism (English/French) is required (please state language capability).
