Finance/Records Management Clerk

The Village of New Maryland is a growing community with many new and exciting projects taking place.  We are currently in search of a dynamic team player to join our Finance Department as the Finance/Records Management Clerk.  

Reporting to the Village’s Treasurer, the successful incumbent will be an instrumental part of our financial management team, responsible for providing day-to-day accounting and payroll services, as well as records management operations in compliance with legislative requirements and municipal objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess a post-secondary education in a relevant discipline and/or two to three years of experience in administration of finances, accounting and payroll systems.  Knowledge of the Municipal Records Authority and experience with the Laserfiche system would be considered an asset.  Mentorship and training are available for qualified candidates who are continuing to develop their expertise in this field.  A detailed job description can be found at www.vonm.ca.
