We are currently seeking a Data Analyst to join our team at our corporate office in Fredericton, N.B.

Autism Intervention Services (AIS) was founded by Danielle Pelletier in 2005, to provide preschool aged children with autism spectrum disorder and their families with high quality, evidence based services. Job Purpose:

Do you love data? Well, we do too! We are looking for a sharp data analyst to become proficient with our internal payroll and scheduling systems. The data analyst will be responsible to gather, and interpret data using existing and new platforms. Reports and analysis will allow our teams to make informed decisions, continuously aiming to improve the quality and responsiveness of the services we offer. These reports will also contain carefully cleaned and formatted data for presentation to third-party stakeholders and will comply with the organization’s contractual obligations.

Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role’s key objective is to extract data from different sources, identifying trends and patterns, and provide the data in ways so as to effect decision-making and quality improvements.
Accountabilities include but not limited to:
• Collecting and interpreting data
• Analyzing results
• Reporting the results back to the relevant members of the business
• Identifying patterns and trends in data sets
• Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to share the results
• Suggesting new data collection and analysis processes

Qualifications and Requirements:

The ideal candidate will:

• A university degree or appropriate college certification is required in one of the following fields:
Mathematics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Technology: Business Analysis
• Experience using payroll / scheduling / HR enterprise systems (e.g., ADP-WorkForce Now, Practice Perfect) would be considered assets.
• Proficiency with Power BI
• At least 2 years’ experience is required.
• Bilingualism – English/French is an asset.
• Be willing to complete a criminal record check, vulnerable sector check and Social Development prior contact check.

In order to excel in this role, we expect you will come with:

• Experience in data models, data visualization and reporting packages
• Comfortable with manipulating data BI tools
• Ability to analyze large datasets
• High proficiency with MS Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical thinking skills and inclination for problem-solving
• Attention to detail

Our company has a COVID-19 Preventative Plan that is designed to ensure safety for our employees and clients.  The AIS Preventative Plan follows all recommendations from New Brunswick Department of Public Health and the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. Our employees are expected to follow the directives of Public Health concerning COVID-19 restrictions and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
