Position Description:
CGI is seeking a Cloud Architect to provide technical and cloud expertise to architect and develop an innovative cloud solution to support our client’s cloud transformation journey. Additionally, the candidate is required to bring strong knowledge and skills with the latest DevOps technologies.

Responsibilities
• Manages, Performs and delivers the IT service with which she or he is associated
• Develops and implements Enterprise Cloud & Hybrid Cloud Strategies leveraging AWS/Azure/GCP
• Executes cloud migrations including Application Rationalization and Modernization strategies
• Work with CGI Architects and Experts to build solution according to requirements
• Manages and Prepares technical deliverables and/or provides input to other deliverables related to the IT service
• Troubleshoot technical and business issues and provide options for resolution
• Strong knowledge of AWS/AZURE/GCP cloud technologies required
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Required a total of 10+ experience in developing and designing Java based application
• Certified as AWS or Azure Solution Architect
• Must have DevOps experience at least 5+ years
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery Experience
• Source Control (Git)
• Agile delivery experience
• AWS/Azure/GCP at least 8+ years working in Cloud environment
• Experience with Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Puppet
• Experience implementing Data strategies tailored to cloud and hybrid cloud implementations
• Experience with complex data model supporting multi-faceted business process
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices
• Expertise in Agile delivery
• Solid application design, coding, testing, maintenance, and debugging skills and strong experience with •Java 8 distributed application development, REST, and domain model Microservices, Spring Boot, API gateway
• Proven abilities delivering CI/CD development methodologies.
• Expertise in designing, developing and deploying Micro services & Micro frontend.
• Expertise in working with container deployment and orchestration technologies at scale with strong knowledge of the fundamentals to include service discovery, deployments, monitoring, scheduling, load balancing. Knowledge of Kubernetes, Rancher and Docker preferred.
• Strong foundation in RESTful APIs, data structures, algorithms, software design and security
• Experience in event-driven design of Microservices and 12-factor app development standards
• Expert knowledge of Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Integration, Spring Cloud Data Flow etc.)
• API design and implementation (remote vs local APIs, routing and reverse proxying, load balancing, optimization techniques).
Required Level of Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Diploma in IT with equivalent IT experience
