By Morgan Peters, Policy Manager, Fredericton Chamber of Commerce

The chamber board of directors and staff are saying goodbye to Event Manager Tanya Senechal this month after nearly four years of planning and delivering high-quality and well-attended events for our members! Tanya has been a wonderful colleague and always committed to putting member needs first – often going above and beyond to ensure that our events were successful, and that attendees, presenters and sponsors were happy with their participation. Her dedication led her to receiving an accredited chamber employee designation through the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Canada as soon as she reached the minimum tenure requirements.

Tanya has been attending UNB on a part-time basis over the past year and will be starting a full-time course load in January with a goal of becoming a teacher. Her skills and personality will be a great asset to the education system in NB!

We know our members that have gotten to know Tanya over the years will be sad to see her, which is why we are also pleased that since she will still be close by, Tanya has agreed to help us out with our major events (to the extent we can host them) until a new full-time Event Manger is hired!

Please join us in wishing Tanya great success in her future endeavours!
