Theatre New Brunswick is looking for a part-time Bookkeeper / Office Manager.
Location: TNB, 55 Whiting Road, Fredericton, NB E3B 5Y5
Hours: approximately 6-10 hours per week
Rate: Negotiable
We are looking for a Bookkeeper / Office Manager to join our team. We seek someone who wants to help New Brunswick’s largest English Professional Theatre Company stay on track financially, pay its bills, and be responsible citizens, so we can keep doing what we do best: make theatre! We are a tight-knit, small team of artists who manage all aspects of the company: a theatre school with upwards of 200 children, four professional theatre productions per year that tour the province.
We go from quiet days in the office, to days where the place is full of singing students, to rooms full of professional artists, making plays. It is a bustling work atmosphere, and every day is different, but the goal is always to spread our love of theatre throughout New Brunswick.

Duties would include, but are not limited to:
· Payroll
· Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
· Bank Reconciliation
· Worksafe NB monthly preparation
· CRA – Monthly payroll remittance, Quarterly HST return & Annual Registered Charity Information Return
· Post credit card transactions
· Assist with annual audit
· Issue T4s & T4As
· Managing general ledger reconciliations and journal entries
· Other general end-to-end bookkeeping & administrative duties
-Preference will be give to candidates who have a working knowledge SAGE 50 accounting, Microsoft Office & Excel
-Preference will be give to candidates who have experience working with Non-Profit organization and the Performing Arts
-Independently motivated, ability to work well under pressure
-3+ years of bookkeeping experience
-Organized and detailed oriented
