Position Summary
This position works closely with the ECMA team and reports directly to the CEO to schedule Festival Showcases for East Coast Music Awards: Festival and Conference from an approved list of artists.  

Major Responsibilities
Using the approved list of juried artists and working closely with the Membership & Special Projects Manager schedule the Festival Showcases following ECMA guidelines
Working closely with ECMA team to manage conflicts and efficient and effective use of equipment.
Some understanding artists’ technical requirements
Working closely with Technical Director and Technical Assistant to ensure the efficient use of backline
Working with Local Engagement Committee (LEC) with regards to venues and the best pairing of shows and venues and the mix of talent to ensure well-attended events.
Work with LEC to capture the musical flavour of the region
Other duties as required

Skills and Experience
Direct experience scheduling/programming multi-genre festivals in the Atlantic region
Knowledge of the diverse East Coast Music scene
Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented with a strong ability to prioritize to meet deadlines as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced event environment
Creative, resourceful, flexible,
Work well independently and as part of a team
Experience working in the East Coast Music Industry
Bilingual in French and English is considered an asset
