NETWORKING
Throughout the year the Fredericton Chamber of Commerce hosts 40-50 events and social functions to help you get connected with the Fredericton business community. These events are a great way to make yourself known and spread the word about the products and services your business has to offer.

Monthly Events – The Chamber holds free monthly networking events for its members. Our Business After Hours networking takes place once a month from 4:30pm to 6:30pm, normally on the first Thursday of each month from September to June. It is hosted by one of our members to showcase their company and location. We also have Early Bird Networking events and Luncheon events. Check our website for upcoming events.

Signature Events – These events range from major events such as annual State of the Province Address with attendance up to 800, State of the City Address attracting approximately 200-300 people, Business Excellence Awards attracting approximately 400 business leaders, and the Distinguished Citizens Awards attracting approximately 200-250 people.

CHAMBER EMAIL LIST
Our Chamber publishes a bi-monthly electronic newsletter, Chamber Connections, and distributes it to our 1600+ distribution email list. This e-newsletter keeps our members informed of issues the Chamber is currently working on. Other section headings include: What’s New – in this section we discuss Chamber news and welcome new members, Upcoming Events, Insight Magazine, M2M Offers of the Week highlighting 2 members each newsletter, Benefits highlighting a Chamber benefit, and Member Corner where we have 3 business card size ad space that will link to the company’s website or email. ADVOCACY AND OUR COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS
Advocating on behalf of our members has always been at the very centre of the Fredericton Chamber of Commerce’s mandate, and this year we’ve increased our efforts even further to recruit volunteers, engage stakeholders, and promote our members’ perspective to the public through surveys and committees. This year we’ve recruited over 50 members from the private, public, and non-profit sectors to help us develop policy that articulates the business community’s priorities and that we can advance for the betterment of the Fredericton business environment.
