Membership Development Manager - Chrystal Venator
Chrystal Venator joins the Chamber as the Membership Development Manager responsible for member recruitment and retention. For the past five years, Chrystal has worked as a business development officer where she provided one on one business counseling, start-up and expansion support services and managed the federal SEED Capital loan portfolio. In addition, Chrystal is also the co-founder and an executive member of the Fredericton Region Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs (www.frype.ca ) network which provides social and educational opportunities for youth 19-35 in the Fredericton Region.

A Miramichi native, Chrystal holds degrees in Arts, Business and Education. Chrystal looks forward to working with existing and future members of the Chamber!

Policy and Research Manager - Morgan Peters

As Policy and Research Manager, Morgan liaises with all stakeholders and advocates on behalf of members in various forms. In this context he researches key issues and collaboratively recommends, produces and communicates relevant policies and positions. Since completing a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws at UNB, he has acquired extensive experience in writing, researching and communicating in the greater Fredericton area and the province at large in the legal and education sectors.

Operations and Communications Manager - Wendy Morrell
Wendy's role as Operations Manager is to ensure the smooth running of the chamber facilities, equipment and office services. The Communications Manager role is responsible for delivering a number of key chamber communication vehicles, specifically email communications, Membership Directory, Insight Magazine, Annual Report and Chamber Website. Wendy also assists the Membership and Marketing Director with the recruitment and retention of our members.

Events Manager - Stacey Murray
As Event Manager, Stacey is responsible for the set-up of the Chamber's 50 plus events per year, including seven major events such as, the State of the Province Address, the State of The City Address, the Distinguished Citizen Awards and the Business Excellence Awards. She coordinates the monthly networking events such as, Business After Hours, Early Bird Networking and Networking Luncheons.
Stacey originates from Minto, New Brunswick. She has a Bachelor in Business Administration Degree, Honours in Marketing and a Minor in Sociology from the University of New Brunswick. In 2012, Stacey became a certified Wedding Planner through The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada. She is currently enrolled in the Event Management Extension Certificate at Mount Royal University. Stacey has an extensive background in event planning; she’s planned national conferences, festivals, receptions, national meetings, networking events and weddings. In June 2012 Stacey joined the Chamber bringing to the position her event planning experience and education.

Business Immigration Mentorship Program Project Coordinator - Janet Moser
Janet Moser joins the Fredericton Chamber team as the Project Coordinator for the Business Immigrant Mentorship Program. Born and raised in Fredericton, Janet has worked as a business professional for over 20 years and will coordinate the Mentorship Program on a full-time basis. As someone who owned and operated her own flower and gift shop and herself went though a mentoring program for new business owners, Janet understands the value of being partnered with a successful business owner.

In addition to her business experience, Janet has also worked closely with immigrants in her role as Career Service Liaison at Eastern College. Janet is familiar with the barriers immigrants often face when entering the workforce or beginning a business, but her experience has taught her that many newcomers have the motivation and attitude that will help them prosper here. “I’ve coached many immigrants on job readiness and can speak for their fantastic work ethic and drive to succeed,” said Janet. “I know that this attitude will be a great asset in building new business and creating new jobs, which is the very objective that this project is working to achieve.”

The Business Immigrant Mentorship Program is currently seeking candidates for mentees (immigrant business participants) and mentors (business owners) for our August intake. Bookkeeper - Brianne Phillips-
Brianne is responsible for the day-to-day accounting procedures and payroll administration. Brianne grew up in Cumberland Bay, NB and graduated from Chipman High School in 1999. She completed her Accounting and Payroll Administration course at CompuCollege Fredericton in 2004. She joined the Chamber staff in December 2004, as part-time bookkeeper. In August of 2005 she took on the role of Event Coordinator and Bookkeeper until December 2006. She presently works part-time at SwiftRadius Inc. during the mornings as bookkeeper and payroll administrator and in the afternoons at the Chamber office. She now resides in
